     @X08A tripwire is an element of the classic booby trap@X05.@X08  By placing a nearly
invisible line of string or fishing line in the probable path of a victim@X05,@X08 and
by putting some type of trap there also@X05,@X08 nasty things can be caused to occur@X05.@X08
If this mode of thought is applied to explosives@X05,@X08 how would one use such a
tripwire to detonate a bomb@X05.@X08  The technique is simple@X05.@X08  By wrapping the tips of
a standard clothespin with aluminum foil@X05,@X08 and placing something between them@X05,@X08
and connecting wires to each aluminum foil contact@X05,@X08 an electric tripwire can
be made@X05,@X08  If a piece of wood attached to the tripwire was placed between the
contacts on the clothespin@X05,@X08 the clothespin would serve as a switch@X05.@X08  When the
tripwire was pulled@X05,@X08 the clothespin would snap together@X05,@X08 allowing current to
flow between the two pieces of aluminum foil@X05,@X08 thereby completing a circuit@X05,@X08 which
would have the igniter or squib in it@X05.@X08  Current would flow between the contacts
to the igniter or squib@X05,@X08 heat the igniter or squib@X05,@X08 causing it to explode@X05.@X08
